According to Skyscanner, the most sought after seat on a standard aircraft is seat 6A, while the least popular seat among customers is 31E.
While 42% of passengers prefer to seat at the front of the aircraft, only 1% prefer to seat in the middle of the aircraft on an isle seat, which is my personal favorite.
However, seat 6A may be among the least safe seats in landing accidents. Based on an experiment conducted by aviation scientists and experienced pilots, passengers in front rows (1 to 11) of an aircraft don’t stand a chance of survival in serious landing accidents. Here is the impact video.
