National Trust is running a number of exciting family events every year. Together with Cadbury they organised a number of Easter events as part of Easter Egg Trail.

These events have been taking place from the end of March and will continue into mid April – a great opportunity for families to have fun with their kids at over 240 special National Trust places throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

These events include egg and spoon races, bug hunts, climbing trees and building dens, among others. National Trust lets kids and families to experience British outdoors, meet people and learn new things all year round.

In case you don’t know, National Trust is an independent charity organisation with 3.7 million members and 61,000 volunteers who protect and open to the public over 350 historic houses, gardens and ancient monuments in Britain. They also look after forests, woods, fens, beaches, farmland, downs, moorland, islands, archaeological remains, castles, nature reserves and villages, making them accessible to everyone. Over 50 million people visit their open-air properties every year. National Trust relies on membership fees, donations and legacies, and revenue raised from their commercial operations.

This spring is a perfect time to explore some of these sites with your family. Hop on an Easter egg trail with National Trust and Cadbury and if you live in London like me, you may want to attend some of these events around London and South East. Find a fab family Easter event!
