How websites compare and relate to each other on the Internet

July 24, 2012

This zoomable Internet Map is a visualisation of how internet websites compare and connect with each other.

Each circle on the map is a website on the web. The size of the circle is defined by website popularity. The color of the circle is defined by the country of origin (blue – USA, red – Russia, yellow – China, purple – Japan). People flowing from one site to another form connections. The stronger the connection, the closer the websites are to each other.

Go and find your website on the map, see who your friendly websites are.
