A powerful cyclone wiped out 1.3% of Sweden’s forest in 2005. The wood was collected and organised (think IKEA) into an open-air storage, 2.5 km long, 13 meters high. This made it the largest timber storage in the world. It holds 75 million cubic meters of wood. IKEA won’t run out of furniture any time soon.
