There is a bridge in Scotland that is famous for dog suicides. Since 1950 until today, over 50 dogs have leaped from Overtoun bridge and killed themselves. The phenomenon is not fully understood, although an animal habitat expert brought to investigate the case concluded that the dogs jump off the bridge because they are attracted by the scent of urine of male minks living below the bridge.
