It appears that 78% of those who set New Year resolutions fail

January 4, 2012 · 1 comment

According to several resolution studies, not more than 22% of those who set New Year resolutions succeed – 78% fail. This explains why I saw surprisingly many people running on the streets of London on the 1st and 2nd of January. Getting fit is one of the most popular resolutions.

Sadly, statistics and observations suggest that those runners won’t last long. Picture to match the occasion.

My resolutions for this year are going to bed earlier, cutting on coffee and exercising more. I hope to achieve at least the first one. What are your resolutions?
