Milk boxes change color with nearing expiry dates

It is not too long before we stop looking at expiry dates on the products we store in the fridge. Instead, we will look at the color of the packaging – it will signal approaching expiry of the product. This is already the case for Japan, where milk boxes change their color with nearing expiry. This technology is also used for meat expiry visualization.
