Savannah cats can jump 2.5 meters high from a standing position

I learned today that Savannah is the largest breed of domestic cats. It’s a cross between a large-eared wild African cat and a domestic cat.

According to their owners, they are quite intelligent. For example, they learn how to open refrigerators and high cabinets. They can walk on a leash and even play fetch.

Being also quite powerful, they can jump up on top of doors. Some Savannahs can jump about 2.5 m (8 feet) high from a standing position.

Because Savannahs are so badass, some countries including Australia ban them from entry fearing they will destroy native species through their enhanced hunting skills, intelligence and increased body size.

If I ever decide to get a cat, this would be my choice.
