There is a dedicated elephant underpass in Kenya

An underpass for elephants was built in Kenya earlier in 2011 so that the elephants could safely cross the road over to the forest without putting themselves and motorists in danger, damaging crops or scaring residents in the nearby village. Built on donor funds, the underpass construction cost $250K.
