Eight members of an Amish sect in Kentucky were jailed after they refused to pay fines for not attaching reflecting orange safety triangles to their horse-drawn buggies.
The men refused to pay the fines because their religion prohibits exhibition of bright colors. When jailed, the inmates were given dark-colored jumpsuits instead of the standard orange ones.
