Today I found a scientific confirmation to what I though was already the case. One day, we may give up most of our brain storage capacity in favor of Internet.
According to a scientific research, people rely on the Internet to store information that they would otherwise store in their heads. Internet accessibility on-demand reduces the amount and types of information we memorize. Rather than memorizing certain information, we prefer to memorize the way to access it online.
Seriously, why would you want to keep something in your head that can be stored and easily accessed elsewhere? Today we move our songs and pictures to the cloud, tomorrow – all our memories.
