Shaven guinea pig looks like a baby hippo

So you thought nature was creative? Apparently, a shaven guinea pig is a copy of a baby hippo. Not exactly a copycat but once you see this you won’t think of them two separately. Compare!

Your’e actually completely off. Skinny pigs are in fact, not shaven. It is a genetic mutation. I hope you think before you spread around false information next time, because this assumption is wrong. I get many comments on my Hairless guinea pig, when people assume I have done such an inhumane thing as shaving his hair off. It’s not true. Check your facts.

Yes, I have the same comment as the previous person: it’s not shaven but born hairless!
It’s like the hairless cats and dogs, genetic mutation.
Please correct you’re text.

ok this is a genetic mutation… Hairless guinea pig. Even so… Who cares if someone were to shave a guinea pig? People shave cats and dogs every day… Geez some people need to lighten up.

I think the “shaven” guinea pig is called a “skinny pig”, they are born without hair I believe. Still super-cute, and so is that hippo!
