Non-airblade hand dryers should not exist

April 25, 2011 · 1 comment

It is not that I have seen a Dyson airblade hand dryer for the first time, but it is just so annoying to see how old school hand dryers still coexist together with them. It takes about three minutes to dry hands with a typical dryer, while it takes only 15 seconds for a Dyson dryer to do the same. It’s a pity that old-school hand dryers still exist. You typically end up leaving the bathroom with wet hands to let someone else give it a try. Such hand dryers should not be built anymore, nor installed into public places. Please, public place admins and owners, stop buying and installing those out-of-date inefficient hand dryers. It’s like mass-installing black-and-white TVs when the world has already moved on to color television.
