Japanese use 10,000 smileys

November 5, 2010

Do you know that Japanese use over 10,000 smileys? They are much more interesting and versatile than colon-bracket. For example:

(*≧▽≦) = Nice to meet you
(‘-‘*) = Long time no see
\(^ ^)/ = I am glad
O(≧∇≦)O = Wow!

Here is a bigger list.
