Danish children learn to speak later than others

Danish is a hard language to learn. It is easier to to read it than to speak it. Perhaps, that is why Danish children start speaking later than children in Norway and Sweden and those of many other European nations. If you heard someone speaking Danish, you wouldn’t be surprised.
